Katie Hollenbach Derr is a Pennsylvania-certified Principal and the owner of Katie Derr Consulting. Katie began her career in education as a teacher and soon recognized how impactful quality leadership could be on school success and ultimately, student achievement.
Katie Derr Consulting is an independent consulting firm specializing in leadership development, operations, and talent & recruitment within the education sector. Under the philosophy that great people create great schools, Katie works to develop leaders to unlock their full potential, enact change, and foster thriving school communities. From her experience leading charter schools, Katie also specializes in managing recruitment, hiring, student enrollment, facilities & building renovations, compliance, technology, and safety.

Katie Derr holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Temple University and a Master in School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. Her previous roles include Assistant Principal, Chief of Talent & Recruitment, & Senior Director of Operations.
